Discover Hemlock Haven, a sprawling one-acre site offering an open, grassy canvas for your unique camping adventure. This is your invitation to unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature in a truly peaceful and quiet setting.

 

Pitch your tent under the vast sky, build a crackling fire in the designated pit, and settle in for an evening of deep relaxation. You'll find yourself surrounded by tranquility, far from the noise of the everyday.

 

For the adventurous spirit, step out directly onto our extensive network of eight miles of private hiking trails. Explore the winding paths, breathe the fresh air, and experience the very best that nature has to offer, right outside your campsite. Hemlock Haven is more than a place to stay—it's an experience to be savored.

Policies

Who can stay

4 guests maximum(unless other arrangements have been approved)

Extra guests: All other guests must be approved PRIOR to stay. Approved guests must provide ID.

 

Check-in

Check-in after 2:00 PM      Checkout before 11:00 AM

Self-check-in with lockbox

Use of trails & roads

We do not allow vehicles other than e-bikes on trails (vehicles allowed on cabin entrance roads only). When hiking or biking, please use detailed trail map & stay on marked trails taking care not to enter adjacent, posted properties. Please do not enter "private" areas or other sites marked on the trail map. Please respect other hikers

 

Firewood

If you plan on using the wood stove, firewood & kindling is available for purchase. There is a $25.00 charge for 2 cubic of split seasoned hardwood. Campfire wood is $25.00/3 cubic ft. Prices include kindling, delivery & stacking. We must be notified in advance and paid in full prior to your stay.

 

Campfires

Fires must stay within the perimeter of fire ring. No burn policy enforced when town declares one. Fire must be extinguished prior to retiring. Guests can gather kindling. No cutting any standing or downed trees permitted

 

Garbage

Garbage attracts wildlife. Please keep all garbage in provided steel can on the deck.

 

Dogs ($35.00 charge)

We are dog friendly with exceptions & conditions. We accept only non-aggressive breeds which do not chew or have incontinent problems. License & shots required. No pets allowed on furniture or beds. Guests will be held liable for all damages incurred by the dog. We require dogs to be supervised while outdoors and on the trails. If you bring a dog, make sure the dog is on a leash when hiking on common trails. Where applicable, a surcharge will be added for excessive cleaning and damages.

 

Illegal drug use

Sadly, as you are aware, our nation is experiencing one of the worst drug epidemics in history. In order to support the health & wellbeing of all our patrons and of this community there no use of illegal drugs on this property. If evidence of illegal drug use is found during or following your stay the authorities will be notified for further investigation.

 

Additional policies

No smoking, hunting, fishing, trapping or foraging, target shooting, discharge of fireworks or firearms, bows etc. No vehicles allowed past the parking areas. No parties or events unless pre-approved.

 

Quiet time is after 11:00pm
