Security Deposit Policy:

A security deposit for our cabin rentals in the amount of $300.00 is required at the time of reservation. Deposit is fully refunded once premises has been inspected and no damages have been found (within 5 days of departure).

 

Reservation Policy:

Registrant must be minimum of 21 years of age to make a reservation (Registration is required)
 

Cancellation Policy:

Payment is fully refundable if cancellation is 14 days to the scheduled arrival date. If cancellation occurs within 7 days of arrival date,  50% of payment is forfeited or a $50.00 administration fee is charged at our discretion. Failure to show constitutes forfeiture. Once checked in a guest is responsible for the entire reservation. No refunds for early departure or inclement weather. No refunds for holiday reservations.

 

Damages Policy:

Our guest(s) accepts all liability for any/all damages to Tranquility Trails property, cabins or content and must sign a liability waiver when they register. All parties agree to pay for any/all repairs due to such acts caused by any member of their party including pets.

Wood stove & camp fire wood:

If you plan on using the wood stove or fire pit, firewood & kindling is available for purchase. Seasoned split hardwood for the stove is $30.00 for 3 cubic feet. Campfire wood is $25.00 for 3 cubic feet. These charges include delivery. Please order/pay for wood prior to your stay for sufficient delivery time.

(If you live outside Allegany county, bringing your own firewood is not an option unless it is kiln dried. This is due to invasive, wood boring insects. NYS law prohibits the transport of firewood into Allegany county)

 

Pets:

There is a $35.00 charge for dogs. We are dog friendly with a few exceptions & conditions. We accept only non-aggressive, short haired adult dogs who are trained to stay off the furniture & do not chew or have incontinence problems. Due to the wildlife and other guests sharing trails, we require dogs to be on a leash at all times while outdoors unless adequately trained and supervised. If asked, Proof of license & shots will be required. Guest will be held liable for any and all damages incurred from dog. Tranquility Trails reserves the right to implement this policy on their own terms & discretion.

 

Navigation/ access roads, driveways & trails

10 miles hour speed limit on all access roads and driveways. Private roads to cabins are accessible from paved road. 1 vehicle allowed per site.  Ample overflow parking available.Trails are exclusively for our guests. Trails can be used for hiking, biking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing etc. A detailed site/trail map is provided. 10 miles of shared trails. PLEASE adhere to trail map and ALL trail markers when using shared/common trails. Property boundaries are clearly posted. Respect property boundaries and do not enter neighbors property. Smoking is not permitted on shared trails or inside any structure.

Cabin pricing is all inclusive. No administration fees.

​Cleaning Policy:

We feel that it is very important to assure our guests that the cabins are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each and every guest. Therefore, we hire a professional cleaning service. In order to keep cost reasonable, we currently do not charge extra for this professional service. In order to keep this policy in effect we ask our guests to pickup after themselves to minimize our costs.

Trash & recyclables: Due to the wild life we have a carry in carry out garbage policy. If you are not able to carry out your trash & recyclable please leave them secured in the steel receptacles located at each site and notify the staff when departing. The grounds are expected to be kept pristine. PLEASE DO NOT FEED WILDLIFE.  

Absolutely NO hunting or discharge of firearms or fireworks is permitted at anytime. No hunting, fishing, trapping or foraging. Children and pets must not be left unsupervised. NO EXCEPTIONS. ALL violations will be prosecuted to

the fullest extent of the law.

 

Illegal drug use:

Sadly, as you are aware, our nation is experiencing one of the worst drug epidemics in history. In order to support the health & well being of all our patrons and of this community there IS TO BE NO USE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS on this property. If evidence of illegal drug use is found during or following your stay the authorities will be notified for further investigation.
